GCBT Conference Prayer Framework
The GCBT (Great Commission Bible Translation) Network, in partnership with the Global Church, is committed to Kingdom partnership to enable the nations to translate God's Word into their heart languages in order to make disciples of the nations (Matt. 28:18-20) and hasten the coming of Jesus our Lord and Savior (Matt. 24:14). Key Leaders in strategic countries of the world who need Bible translation attend these GCBT conferences.
Prayer Warriors are needed to intercede for every aspect of the GCBT Program! Your role as a Prayer Warrior will be to form a team of two or more people to pray over the needs listed. You will pray before, during and after the event. Please follow the prayer guide:
Please pray that the GCBT Conferences will achieve these goals:
Vision-casting
Mobilizing global initiative partnerships
Enabling participants to:
- understand MAST (Mobilized Assistance Supporting Translation)
- get a hands-on experience of MAST and the use of Bible Translation Tools
Studying the research on Bibleless unreached people groups and moving on to strategy and planning
Providing leadership and ownership of the vision
Wisdom and resources to move forward the vision that God gives them
That participants and organizers adapt to the change from in-person events
That all the registered participants will make it to the Zoom call and Facebook stream
For consistent power and internet
For health and safety for all participants and their families
Against disruptive powers and principalities
For and increase in the number of participants
A tenet of Communication Theory is that "the audience is sovereign". God gave the nations their languages and the churches of these nations have the stewardship of translating God's word in their languages.
