It is difficult to overstate the importance of Asia. It is home to almost half the people on the planet! The largest Hindu, Muslim, Buddhist, Communist nations are located in Asia. China is rapidly becoming one of the world’s most important financial centers, Japan is the poster-child for quality manufacturing, and India is the tech support center for the world. What happens in Asia drastically affects our lives.

Since Asia influences the world, it is vital that the Word of God influences Asia. There are hundreds of Bible translation projects ongoing in Asia, but there is a need for at least a thousand more.
