Angola

Angola is located along the southern Atlantic coast of Africa. The majority of Angola’s population of 19 million live along the coastal plain. Angola was a Portuguese colony until obtaining independence in 1975. Despite the significant natural resources, the standard of living for most Angolans is very low. About 40 languages are spoken in Angola besides Portuguese. The full Bible is available in less than a third of these languages, and many have no scripture at all.
