Uganda is in the African Great Lakes region of Africa. The southern part of the country includes a substantial portion of Lake Victoria, shared with Kenya and Tanzania. The official languages are English and Swahili and Luganda a central language, is widely spoken across the country, and several other languages are also spoken including Runyoro, Ruyankole, Rukiga, and Luo.  Uganda's culture weaves a yarn of variety not only through the manner of dress, language and other characteristics but also in its variety of dishes. Only in Uganda will you find places that can give you variety of fresh food as compared to other countries, they include yummy banana dishes, stews, pastes and juicy fruits and drinks.
